An inadequate manhole increases the risk of sabotage of drinking water. If it is also leaky, pollen, air pollutants, insects or smaller animals can get access to the drinking water.
Amphi-Safe® safety hatch keeps both uninvited guests and contaminants away. The door is guaranteed to be tight and very difficult to force. When there are level changes in the reservoir, the air will pass through the air filter instead of slipping through the manhole. With Amphi-Safe® you raise the safety of the water reservoir to a new level and cleaning does not need to be carried out as often.
Drinking water is one of our most important provisions and it is the responsibility of the water producers to ensure that the drinking water is of good quality and safe to drink. To meet these requirements, the reservoir hatch must be air tight and in good condition.
Our safety hatch cover Amphi-Safe® is specially developed to suit this purpose. It is completely airtight and creates an air barrier against external pollutants and protects your drinking water in a safe way.

With our Amphi-Safe® RC3 hatch, we believe that no superstructure is needed as there are no visible details that can be cut open or hinges that can get knocked off.
The following special details are available on our RC3 hatch:
- Spring-suspended sealing strip on the inner protection plate, which means that the door always remains 100% airtight.
- Recessed tamper-proof padlock in class 3, which means that the padlock is completely hidden inside the hatches construction.
- Double locking points for added security.
- Break-protected and hidden details.

A facility with content worthy of protection should be secured against external influences. If the plant contains food, leaks that risk contaminating its contents cannot be permitted. Amphi-Safe® RC3 safety hatch protects buses and sabotage against facilities worthy of protection. Our patented construction with spring-suspended sealing strip makes the manhole completely airtight.
