With the help of our underwater robot, we can carry out both fast and safe inspections. You avoid the time-consuming and costly step of draining the reservoir. An inspection using an underwater robot normally takes 1 - 3 hours depending on the size and complexity of the reservoir. Our robots discover everything that may need to be fixed while water production is still in operation. Externally, the inspection is performed visually.
The inspection protocols follow the checklist for drinking water reservoirs issued by the national trade association Swedish Water.
The inspections are performed by our experienced inspectors and follow a well planned process. The result is documented in the protocols that we deliver along with a video and pictures that show, among other things:
- General condition of the reservoir and maintenance needs.
- Need for cleaning of reservoir.
- If leakage or other contamination sources exist.
- Recommended actions for safe drinking water storage.
After performing field work, you as a customer receive an inspection report that is carefully designed to be a clear basis for your budget work and planning of any maintenance or repairs. The inspection protocols follow the checklist for drinking water reservoirs issued by the national trade association Swedish Water, which can be found in their publication P115 (2021).
Our inspection protocols include, among other things
- Documentation of the reservoir's building data such as age, volume and bottom surface, interior material, pipe material, previous inspections and cleanings.
- Detailed remarks and recommendations for the internal and external environment of the reservoir.
- Each remark is illustrated with a photo from the inspection.
- Attached to each inspection report is also a video produced by our underwater robot.
